Statement of Faith |

|
 We believe
in one God eternally existing as Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. |
|
We believe
that God has revealed Himself and the true history of the
world in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, which are the
inspired Word of God. |
|
We believe
that in the beginning the Son, as the agent of the Father,
created the world and all that is in it in six days of ordinary length. The
first people, Adam and Eve, were created in God's image, with free will,
moral character, and a spiritual nature. |
|
We believe
that Adam and Eve chose to break God's law, separating
themselves from God and bringing physical and spiritual death upon the human
race. Since all people have descended from them, everyone has inherited
their sinful nature-self-centered and self-willed, unwilling and unable to
keep God's righteous laws. |
|
We believe
that God's Son was sent forth into the world as a man named
Jesus Christ (the Messiah). He lived a life of complete purity and holiness,
fulfilling all of God's requirements for righteousness. |
|
We believe
that Jesus freely offered His life for all men, which was the
price that God required to redeem us from our sin and restore us to
fellowship with Him. The Father proved that He accepted His Son's sacrifice
by raising His body back to life and seating Him in highest honor at His
side. This is Who we sing about! |

We believe
that God freely offers salvation unto eternal life to all
those who repent of their wickedness and sinful nature and believe in faith
that God has accepted the death of Jesus Christ as full satisfaction for the
penalty their sin requires. This is what we sing about! |

We believe
that the Holy Spirit enters the life of the believer to give
him a new nature, to give guidance in life, to give power for God's service,
to convict him of sin, and to preserve him in faith and holiness. He is what
empowers our song! |

We believe
that the Church, the "body of Christ," is made up of all those
who have accepted God's free salvation. It should be a disciplined people,
obedient to the Word of God, demonstrating the love of God, encouraging and
strengthening each other. This is the primary audience for our song! |
|
We believe
that Jesus Christ commissioned His Church to go into all the
world, ministering to human needs, and calling on all people everywhere to
repent and accept God's free salvation. The ministry of the Mt. Anthems is
one part of this great work. This is why we sing! |
|
We believe
that at death, those who have rejected God's salvation enter
into everlasting punishment, and those who have accepted His salvation enter
in conscious bliss with Jesus Christ, Who will return to earth someday to
raise the dead, judge the world, and bring in God's everlasting kingdom.
This is the hope in which we sing! |
